Thread: Mac Vs Win
Post: RE: Mac Vs Win
Just a correction, Linux is a kernel and not an operating system, GNU is basically the shell on top that makes it an operating system, hence GNU/Linux.
As for Jobs, I can tell he's been in the busine... |

Post: RE: Parents
My mom is a computer science teacher...the only thing she's got on me is a few concepts and some C++, yet she doesn't know much anything about software or cleaning a computer or security, etc.

Windows XP and Vista. I have no computers of my own so I have to use netbook spec'd laptops from '01 and '06 respectively. |

Thread: Introduction
Post: RE: Introduction
I remember floppies. I used to use them with my old M4 when I was like 5 years old. I had to throw it away like 4 years back though. Viruses and whatnot attacked it before I ever got into computers. |

Thread: Must have security programs
Post: RE: Must have security programs
Last I checked Threatfire was more of a firewall than much. Also, you don't really need much of a firewall other than the default one in your OS. |

Protect it from what? Off hand I would say not. I certainly won't move over there and try to change their laws. However, I don't want it to be ok over here. It is unacceptable to cut people... |

I'm not being sensitive, just offended at what you said. Muslims have it bad enough with prejudice without the spread of jokes like yours. |
