Nobody's taking my job latch, but there are hundreds of folk in the UK whose jobs are being outsourced abroad because its cheaper... For example, the Terry's Chocolate Orange used to be made in York.....

It was supposedly new, that's the problem. I looked at the motherboard after the drop and there was a 20mm crack in the GPU. a 4ft drop doesn't cause that (might have made it worse though)

It depends, If I need a cheap part I use Droid Recycling (Ebay seller), because I know they're kosher. Then again I bought an XPS M1730 from Ebay, dropped it 4ft onto carpeted floor and it killed it.
