Stop fattening the ducks!
In not so many words, a woman today was told off for feeding ducks at her local pond white bread.. A local park ranger warned her that in future she should feed the ducks whole bread, instead of white. She was at the pond with her two sons, aged two and four.
The warden later went on to tell her that feeding ducks white bread is like feeding your child chips with every meal.
Chris Packham, presenter of Autumn watch admits bread isn't the best thing to feed them, but feeding them white bread is perfectly fine.
