Google will delete collected wireless information

You can see from my previous thread, here; http://mcompute.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=485 about Google collecting usernames and such from wireless networks within the UK.

The UK's information commissioner has said that wireless data that was accidentally collected by Google's Street View cars will be deleted "as soon as possible".

While the Canadians were in uproar, the UK weren't. Mr Smith admitted that the UK had conducted a much more basic investigation unlike the Canadians. There was no indication that any information collected "had fallen into the wrong hands". "We'd have had to find that there was substantial damage or distress to individuals from the collection of snippets of e-mails, URLs and passwords. We'd have to meet that criteria for a penalty to be imposed," he said.

Information was only collected from Unencrypted wireless networks. Go figure.
