A quick look at Contact Magic for iPhone - Export contacts to .csv
A really quick look at the "Contact Magic" application for iPhone. I was jailbreaking my iPhone thus needed to back stuff up before restoring it - this is the best free application I could find for an unjailbroken iPhone.
1) Download the Application from the market place, just search Contact Magic. Once installed, open the app and you'll be greeted with a loading screen. (Amazing graphics included)
2) A brief overview of what the App does.
3) A quick warning, just click OK.
4) You'll be presented with a list of all your contacts.
5) Tap all the contacts that you wish to backup. (A blue tick will appear next to them) Click Done.
6) It'll then compose an email with the contacts attached in a .csv file. Send the email to one of your email addresses and the jobs a gooden.
Please note you'll need to set up an email account on your phone before hand.
Cons: I've not yet found a way to import my contact so it looks like I'm going to have to enter then all manually.
