What's the oldest domain name you know of?

So I was whois'ing a clients website to see if they were hosted with us and saw that It was registered in 2006, so I googles them and see a similar but shorter version of their domain and I'm thinking "Why didn't they get that one.", well the answer is obvious, this other one was registered in 1997!

So I then started whois'ing domains that I thought would be old and got to 1992 without cheating.

What's the oldest domain name you know of?

I still stand by it. The oldest one I could think of WITHOUT CHEATING was ibm.com, but wasn't sure how far I was off the oldest ever, hence the post

GTE.com I remember, being my dad worked for them. Verizon bought them out in the 90's but I am pretty sure they had a domain back in the mid 80s
