Is there anyway for me to resize a boot animation's resolution? I need to resize it from 480x800(I think) to 240x400. Is this possible?
It will be possible, is your phone rooted? Edit the old file and replace it with the newly sized one. I've seen people make custom boot images. :happy
It's not my phone ,but my A32 (Archos 32), is rooted, finally..after 6 months. But how do I edit the file? I have a bootanimation.zip file with the animation in it, but when I put it in the folder where it needs to be, and boot up, I can't see all of the animation.

So you've already got a custom boot animation on there, it's just too big?
Yep, right on the money.
What's the file extension that you're using, and is it just the one file?
.zip? Inside the zip file it has three folders: part0 with some png files, part1 with more png files, and a .txt file called "desc".
And it's the .pngs that you're putting onto the device? You can easily re-size pngs.
I'm putting the whole .zip file on there.
Edit the PNGs, ReZip. Check the desc file as well. In case it contains some form of config.
