In the cloud game save storage for PlayStation Plus users

Starting tomorrow, (Thursday 10th March 2011), those who pay for Sony's PlayStation Plus service will be able to back up their PS3 saved game data online. This ability comes with the PS3 firmware update to 3.60

So what should you expect from this?
  • 150MB of online storage, or up to 1,000 game files, which you'll be able to access from the PlayStation 3's XrossMediaBar
  • The ability to access your online files from another PS3 console besides your own, (provided you log in with your PSN ID and password first)
This is a good, safe alternative and will come in handy if your PS3 hard drive meets magic smoke.

The down side? $50 a year.
What is this!? America? How much is it in pounds?
I know, right!?

50 U.S. dollars = 30.8546745 British pounds, courtesy of Google, no doubt it'll of changed once someone else checks then they can call me a liar. !
You'd be given £30.94 as of this post:

Courtesy of that guy. I believe it's auto-rounded.
Google > that guy, and it's gone up now.
That Guy is a computing bastard. Wolfram is one of the most useful tools I have ever come across. For both programming and general life.
