Well, it seems that someone working at facebook got bored and created this beauty:


It's a map of the world... Fair enough, except he never actually based it on a map of the world.
He collected data of facebook relationships from people all over Facebook, then got their location and converted it to a longitude and latitude grid. At first all he got was a big white blob, but after adding weighting to the lines we get this map of the world (minus of course China and most of Africa and S.America)

I can see YOUR house from here too!

This is we can see that a lot of users of Facebook. And it was the aspect that we need to think about it. This is the map that we can see into the front page of the Facebook.

No it isn't. There's less on the one on the facebook homepage. Aye, a lot do, but why is the real question :tongue Socialising sucks, why do it?
