Apple face a payout of $600,000,000 in damages claim.

It's about time Apple got a taste of their own medicine.

On 1st October 2010, a US jury favoured "Mirror Worlds" in a patent war over technology used to display documents on computer screens. Mirror Worlds alleged that Apple had infringed four of their patents.

Apple have pleaded with the courts, asking them to reconsider an impending decision that could cost them more than $600 million (£379 million) in damages.

After weighing up extensive amounts of evidence, the jury said that three of Mirror Worlds patents had indeed been infringed and awarded the company $208.5 million in damages for each one.

Apple is asking for a delay to the judge's final decision saying that there were unresolved issues with two out of the three remaining patents in the case. If the court agrees the damages will be reduced to $208.5 million. However, if the judge decides that the three patents have been infringed the damages award of $625.2 million would be among the largest in US legal history.
I hope Apple get it, that's show the world and those obsessed fanboys
