Automatically start the eth0 network interface on boot - Linux Cent OS 6.5
Network not automatically started when you log in..
shows only an IPv6 address
From the Cent OS wiki:

Why does my Ethernet not work unless I log in and explicitly enable it?
The fix is to log in to your CentOS desktop environment, System > Preferences > Network Connections
Under Wired click on System eth0 and click edit.
If you select the check box by "Connect Automatically" networking will start on boot in the future.
