#1
In this tutorial text will be "Taylor Swift" and also she will be my render!
so she is today OUR wallpaper...

Step 1:
Created "New Layer" with your desired size of screen...
I will chose 1366x768px...

Step 2:
Will your "Layer 1" with black color!

Step 3:
Select "Horizontal type tool (T)" .Select font you like, make size of it 12 pt and start typing "Taylor Swift" with this color #666666. Use copy/paste so it will be faster then typing 100x same word Wink . Heres my screen for now...

Step 4:
Lets rotate this text. Select "Marque Tool (M)" and right click on our written text and select "Free Transform" or simply press (Ctrl+T).
Rotate it for 40 degrees and apply transformation

Step 6:
Now we have to resize text layer and copy/paste more text Wink
take a look on my peview how it should look now...

Step 7:
Now make our "huge 100x Taylor text" invisible and make a new text "Taylor Swift" with size 100pt , if you want another font and color: white!

Step 8:
Time to add our render on the new layer!
So make a new layer (Ctrl+Shift+N) and add this render

just move it on the new created layer and do not resize it... Just press enter! Now select "Brush Tool" (B) and resterize smart object by clicking once on our render...

Step 9:
Now make all layers visible and make all of them "Overlay" except "back background layer"

Step 10:
Now you can play there with moving text, chaning color of it or moving image somewhere you like...
Also you can change spacing of font by clicking on Window-Characters at PS toolbar...

Step 11 as finish:
You can add lil inner shadow to make it looks batter...
so make a new layer on the top of all layers... and fill it with black color, change that layer to "Screen" and double click on it to put inner shadow...
Change angle of shadow to 90 degrees-uncheck global light
and change size to 250 - max...
save it and you are done!

Goodluck with this easy wallpaper!

SHARN!
I quite like it actually, I think the red "Taylor Swift" writing makes the image. What font is that?

It does, would look empty without it. She looks better when half her face is covered up..

Not bad, but I'd personally put it the overlay text closer together. I also find that defining the text as a pattern on a seperate canvas, then filling the wallpaper canvas takes a lot less CPU resource up.

Though saying that, I used to do it on 300dpi A3 canvasses (4960 x 3507) so saving CPU use was a major factor in finding new methods :p
