I'll tell you thhe same thing here as I told you on MSN... Get an Acer or Lenovo/IBM

The Lenovo will last a lifetime, but the Acer is a decent build quality and better specs, it's up to you which you prefer... Neither has a MIDI port though so if you get an external input device, it'll have to be USB.
