Cloning A HDD and expanding usable space using boot discs

Well I've had a machine come in with a 40GB HDD and the client has run out of HDD space.
It's an IDE drive and the computer is a P4, they don't want a new computer. What do you do?

Rule 1 I use when dealing with clients is if I can do anything to stop me having to reinstall the OS i'll do it.

So I get them a 120GB IDE drive, install it into the PC with the 40GB drive so now both are present, pop in a CloneZilla CD and start a local disk to local disk clone, It'll take about an hour for 40GB.
Sorted you think? No, you now log back into Windows and find you have two partitions one being the 40GB and the rest being 80GB of free unpartitioned space.
Step 2. Boot of a gparted CD, take the 40GB partition and EXPAND it to the full length, boot back into Windows, let it do a disk check and you're good to go.

Bill them for the HDD and 1 hours work. :thumbs
