That's right, you can get a Renesas RX development board of your very own for free, all you have to do is submit a design to http://www.renesasrulz.com/community/rx-contest and if they deem the project interesting enough they'll send you one for free, ready to make your idea a reality, with cash prizes and software/books to be won as well
Other contests that we've spied on this similar topic are the STM32 design challenge, and another one based on the STM32 where you can win a Harley
Give us a shout if you enter because we would be interested to see what our community can come up with
