Virgin SuperHub - LAN IP address and Guest LAN IP Address can't be the same error - Mark - 15-03-2014

So Virgin's "SuperHub" is crap, especially after their recent update.

The default range on a superhub is 192.168.0.x if you try and change this to 2.x, 3.x or 4.x you receive this error:
LAN IP address and Guest LAN IP Address can't be the same

I cannot see any option to disable guest networks, even after googling even though apparently the SuperHub has 4 Guest Networks - 2 for each band and the GUI checks to see that your new LAN IP won't conflict with these.

As a work around I had to set the range to 10.x, reboot the hub then change it to 2.x

The Clear DHCP Leases trick is no longer available either.

You're also no longer allowed symbols in the password to log in ..
