How to enable the built in Modem mode on Virgin Media SuperHub

Here in the UK, Virgin Media is a very large DSL ISP, probably the largest - the routers they are providing at the moment are re-branded netgears under the name of Super Hubs.

Enabling Modem Mode means you can use it just as a modem and then connect your own router up.

Default Settings
192.168.0.1
u: admin
p: changeme
Once web interface logged in click Super Hub Settings (Middle Icon)

Modem Mode
When active, Modem Mode disables the wireless and routing functions of your Super Hub so you can use your own wireless router.

Active Ports & Connections
When in Modem Mode, only one Ethernet port will be active on your Super Hub, so when using your own router make sure it's connected to the active port. Alternatively, connect a computer directly to this port. When you are in Modem Mode, to access the Main Menu type 192.168.100.1 in your internet browser. The active port is one nearest the broadband cable in connection.

Scroll down to the middle of the page and there's a button.
Enable Modem Mode Button
You're about to enable Modem Mode, which will disable the wireless and routing functions of your Super Hub. Your Super Hub will now reboot and enter Modem Mode.
Do you wish to continue?

As easy as that.
