Last I checked Threatfire was more of a firewall than much. Also, you don't really need much of a firewall other than the default one in your OS.
Macs don't come with firewalls do they?
Honestly, I have no idea. I'd think they do, I mean, even Linux distros have firewalls.

Thanks for the share i haven't heard of a couple of these they will come in handy!
I've added GMER and TDSSKiller to the list, both can be used to help the removal of rootkits. Send these guys in as a near to last operation, after mbam and an AV scan.
I once had a rootkit that updated it self so quickly kaspersky's tdsskiller didn't get rid of it. Just ended up reformatting
Reformatting doesn't remove a rootkit..
Infested Cleaner is also a nifty tool
